Support the Vaca Jazz Society!
When you support the Vaca Jazz Society you’re supporting more than just a good cause, you’re enabling dedicated, highly-skilled and in some cases, professional musicians with a vision for raising up the next generation of aspiring musicians the ability to conduct a number of Youth Jazz Camps at no cost to parents or kids.
School music programs have been hit hard by state budget cuts and, in some cases, have been cut completely. VJS fills an ever-growing void as schools are no longer able to offer the extent or quality of music programs they have in the past (and as you most likely had the privilege to experience).
In addition to youth camps, we put on many free, family-friendly entertainment events through the year like our annual 2-1/2 day Vacaville Jazz Festival, Jazz at the Village concert series, Jazz at the Crossroads and our Library concert series, just to name a few.

Young Artists Conservatory of Music
THE YACM STORY
Young Artists Conservatory of Music (YACM) was founded in April 2005 by long time piano instructor Wanda Cook. After building a private music studio in her living room and garage, of over 70 students, Cook wanted to bring the positive effects of music education to as many youths as possible.
Today YACM is the largest, most respected pre-college arts education organization in the North Bay Region. Under the leadership of Cook, YACM produces over 60 live music events a year.
In 2010 YACM adopted Solano Youth Theatre and Founded Music Matters in the Public Schools. By 2014, Solano Youth Chamber Orchestra became the only regional youth orchestra to perform professional works.
The Black Tie Gala Annual Concert features the regions’ most skilled youth. YACM cultivates musical talent and nurtures creative, confident and resilient young people while promoting regional participation in the arts.
We invest in the unlimited potential of youth through private lessons, classes, and performances.
We also offer quality music instruction in schools through our Music Matters program.

Vacaville Magazine is a free bi-monthly publication for the city of Vacaville. A total of 10,000 copies are printed and distributed throughout the community at local grocery stores, coffee shops, doctors offices and more.
As a courtesy we will be mailing free copies to any Vacaville resident who would like to receive one. *A postage fee will be added to any subscription outside of Vacaville.
